Helper Application

Basic Information

Hello and Welcome to the MCParadise Application Form for the Volunteer team! We are currently looking for a strong team of Helpers, with the potential of being promoted to a Moderator at a later date. Helpers are a group of individuals who are part of our Volunteer team, they are the front line of our team and their role is to assist and support players by answering questions, explaining how to play and act as a rule enforcer when needed.

We do have some very basic requirements in order for you to join our Volunteer Team here at MCParadise; These will be outlined below with a brief reasoning as to why we have decided to take this approach.

You must be 13 or over - This is because we consider this an age of maturity and accurate judgement, Although we completely understand that there will be some people under the age of 13 that are very mature, possibly even more so then some of our existing staff, we do need to set a barrier somewhere and this is where we have decided to set it.

You must have access to Discord - We use Discord as a way to keep in touch with our volunteer team on a 24/7 basis, Without Discord you would be left out of the "loop" as important updates are posted there.

You preferably should have a WORKING Microphone - A Microphone is an effective tool to communicate with others, when you are dealing in a duel situation with another Helper, you may need to work together and text chat is not the most effective way of doing this.

Do you have any previous experience in Moderation? (If so, list servers and roles)

Scenario Questions

You have just been accepted as Helper and you go around doing your role on MCParadise. A well-known member of the community has started to break the rules and you have muted him for doing so. Their friends start to spam you on Discord and in messages in game. What do you do?

As a Helper, you will be very busy. Currently, you have 3 members in game complaining about 3 different hackers, a member blasting music in the Voice Channels on Discord and many people asking questions in the general chat. What do you do? (What do you prioritise, and how do you deal with it)
